Associated Manitoba Arts Festivals is the provincial body representing local community arts festival organizations. Many Manitoba and neighboring Ontario communities are involved annually in producing local, regional, provincial and national festival events. These involve more than 70,000 people as participants, volunteers,
and audience members.
Associated Manitoba Arts Festivals and its member festivals are located on the original territories of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, Lakota and Dene peoples, and within the Métis Nation - lands now known as Treaties One through Five.

2026 PROVINCIAL MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL - jUNE 5-7 WINNIPEG
The Associated Manitoba Arts Festivals’ 2026 PROVINCIAL MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL will be held June 5-7 in Winnipeg at the University of Manitoba Desautels Faculty of Music.
***Registration for the festival will close at end of day on Friday, May 15th.
(Member festival representatives will have seen a May 10th date on the bottom of their Adjudicator Recommendation forms – this has been extended to Friday, May 15th)
Registration is ONLY using our online registration program – accessed from our website homepage, and allows payment by credit card, cheque or etransfer. The registration is not considered complete without payment. Festivals intending to pay for their representatives should inform them to select the ‘cheque’ payment option when submitting their entry(ies). The member festivals are asked to also notify the office of this intention.
ALTERNATES who are ready to participate if called upon are encouraged to submit their form with NO payment (select cheque/etransfer payment option).
Special requests should be sent to amaf@mymts.net with PROVINCIAL FESTIVAL REQUEST in the subject line. It is not possible for AMAF to accommodate all requests.
SOLO and CHAMBER MUSIC classes are $50.00 and require two selections (one the recommended and the other a contrasting selection of own choice)
MULTI-DISCIPLINE CANADIAN COMPOSERS, W.A. MOZART and POP/CONTEMPORARY classes are $30.00 and require only the recommended selection.
MUSICAL THEATRE, OPERETTA and TV/MOVIE MUSICAL classes are $30.00 and require only the recommended selection.
POETRY and PROSE class is $50.00 and requires two selections (one the recommended and the other own choice). NOTE: If the recommended selection is POETRY, the own choice selection must be PROSE. Likewise, If the recommended selection is PROSE, the own choice selection must be POETRY.
PREPARED SPEECH and DRAMATIC MONOLOGUE classes are $30.00 and require only the recommended selection.

Be sure to order materials several weekdays in advance. In order to be cost effective some materials are produced on an ‘as needed’ basis.
